112 Kendoka from all over Europe and a few from Japan met in Brussels for a Kendo Referee training session. The European referees will be put thru the mill by the senior Japanese Sensei whilst the rest of us enjoyed impromptu Keiko interrupted by stoppages for explanation of refereeing points. The whole weekend was conducted in a spirit of friendship an everybody enjoyed themselves. A serious business of grading up to sixth Dan took place on the last day.
